We do a proper regas: vacuum-pull the system to test for leaks, dye-trace if needed, refill to OEM spec, and confirm vent temperature before you leave. No guesswork.
A guess and a parts cannon is not a repair. We measure, test, prove the fault, then fix it.
Dealer-grade scanners, oscilloscopes and multimeters — not just a R200 OBD reader.
Diagnosis first, quote second. You only pay to fix what is actually broken.
Most diagnostics and regassing done at your home or office across Johannesburg.
Workmanship and parts warranty on every repair. We stand behind our work.

A standard car aircon regas using R134a refrigerant starts from around R650-R950 depending on your vehicle and current gas level. Newer vehicles using R1234yf gas (most cars from 2017 onwards) cost more due to the price of the refrigerant. We always inspect for leaks before regassing — there is no point putting gas into a system that will lose it within weeks.
The most common signs are: the aircon blows warm or only slightly cool air, the system takes much longer than usual to cool the cabin, you hear unusual clicking from the compressor, or you notice a damp smell. If your aircon has not been regassed in 2-3 years, it is almost certainly low on gas — refrigerant slowly escapes through seals over time even on a healthy system.
R134a is the older refrigerant used in most cars manufactured before 2017. R1234yf is the newer, environmentally friendlier gas required by law in most newer vehicles. The two gases are NOT interchangeable — putting the wrong gas into a system will damage the compressor. We handle both and identify the correct refrigerant from your vehicle service port and OEM data.
Yes. For most fault-finding, ECU diagnostic scans, battery and alternator testing, and many aircon regas jobs we come to you across Johannesburg, Sandton, Randburg, Roodepoort, Midrand, Centurion and Pretoria South. Major workshop repairs (ECU programming, deep wiring rebuilds) are done in-workshop.
Absolutely — this is one of our core services. We use professional OBD-II and manufacturer-specific scanners to read all fault codes from the engine, transmission, ABS, airbags and body modules, then we interpret them properly. A check-engine light is a symptom, not a diagnosis. We find the actual root cause rather than just clearing the code.
All major makes — Toyota, Volkswagen, BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Audi, Ford, Hyundai, Kia, Nissan, Mazda, Isuzu, Mahindra, Renault, Suzuki, Chevrolet and most Chinese imports. Our diagnostic equipment supports brand-specific protocols for European, Japanese, Korean, American and Chinese vehicles.
