Who we are

Specialists, Not Generalists.

Auto Repair South Africa is an auto electrical and diagnostics workshop based in Johannesburg. We do one set of things and we do them properly: diagnostics, ECU work, wiring, fault finding, accessories and now full car aircon regas.

We are not a general mechanic that also dabbles in electrical work. We are an auto electrical workshop that has invested in the proper diagnostic equipment, the proper test gear, and the proper experience to fix electrical and electronic problems that others give up on.

The cars we love most are the ones two other workshops have already failed to fix.

How we work

Our Approach

Diagnose First

No part gets replaced until we have proven that it is the actual problem.

Quote in Writing

Once we know the fault, you get a written quote. No surprises at the end.

Repair Properly

Soldered joints over crimps. OEM parts where they matter. Heat-shrink, not insulation tape.

Test & Verify

The fault must be gone AND must stay gone. We re-test before you leave the workshop.
